Whitman is pleased to announce that Mark Zelina, P.E., P.P., C.P.E has joined the firm as Director of Civil Engineering.
Mark brings over 35 years of diverse experience in the engineering and construction industries. His engineering experience includes design and preparation of plans and studies for a variety of site plans and subdivision projects for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
Mark’s site design/civil engineering experience includes initial site evaluation and/or feasibility studies to determine the suitability of a site from an environmental, regulatory, and constructability perspective; the layout and design of a site including the buildings, roads, driveways, storm water, sanitary sewer and other utility systems; site grading; and regulatory permitting from local, state, and county agencies.
Mark has routinely provided expert testimony before local planning and zoning boards and has served as an expert witness before arbitration and judiciary hearings. He has also served as the Engineer of Record and Planning/Zoning Board Engineer for various municipalities.
