Our trained field staff and industrial hygienists can provide:
- An approved post-cleaning sampling plan based on the area square footage and usage;
- Monitoring the area with handheld meters which are based on adenosine triphosphate (ATP) bioluminescence measurements. These use relative light units (RLU) to rapidly assess the level of cleanliness of environmental surfaces in healthcare and other settings;
- Swab sampling of commonly touched items, including desks, countertops, light switches, chairs, keyboards, phones, door handles, faucets, appliances, etc.; and
- A final report detailing the services and certified laboratory results.
Since there is not an approved testing method currently available to determine the presence of COVID-19 on the above-mentioned surfaces, these post-cleaning steps help to determine whether or not any bacteria remain where the virus could potentially attach and become viable.
By adding this step to verify the cleanliness of these commonly used surfaces, it will provide an added layer of confidence for you and your employees that the disinfection process was effective.
