Our Onsite Services in Action

Since 2019, Whitman has been involved in a campaign for a large pharmaceutical company in New Jersey, providing full-time onsite environmental support.  Our support services include wastewater permitting, spill prevention, containment and countermeasure plans, wastewater studies, proper handling and segregation of laboratory-produced waste, and health and safety.

In addition, Whitman was tasked with completing a Sustainability Project that included the creation of a plan for the company’s campus that will act as a 3-5 year roadmap and guide for developments and projects aimed to reduce the campus’ environmental impacts and increase performance.  This primarily focuses on reduction of resource consumption, and also includes climate change adaptation and resiliency planning.

The second phase of the project provided a more comprehensive assessment focusing on potential and existing risks and opportunities, to be used as a primary facilitator for the company regarding sustainable strategies and furtherance of their Corporate Responsibility efforts.
