John has 30 years of experience in the environmental field specializing in regulatory permitting and consulting activities.  He is responsible for strategic planning and project management within Whitman’s Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Division, and plays a key role in driving business development initiatives for Whitman’s environmental services. John specializes in Health and Safety Compliance, Health and Safety Training, Job Safety Analysis, Accident/Incident Investigations, Safety Plan Development and Implementation, Site and Facility Audits, Environmental Reporting, and Environmental Permitting.  He also has extensive experience corresponding with regulatory agencies on behalf of clients during the permit application process.

John holds a B.S. in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University.

John is an avid Giants, Yankees and Rangers fan and has been coaching youth sports for over 30 years, the past 15 devoted to travel softball.  When he is not coaching, John enjoys fishing, working in the vegetable garden and spending time with his family.
