Whitman’s Waste Management Division provides comprehensive Organic, Universal and Electronic Waste Recycling Services, designed for hassle-free collection, transportation and recycling of your waste.

We can internally manage the labor, supplies, and transportation to package and haul all organic, universal, and electronic waste from your facility to fully permitted recycling facilities.  We have 40-Hour OSHA/DOT-Certified drivers and laborers who possess the training and experience to properly manage these types of materials.

We are ready and able to provide customized services for both routine and emergency needs, and we are focused on ensuring your facility maintains compliance with all requirements for the removal and recycling of these materials.

What are organic, universal, and electronic wastes?

Organic, universal and electronic wastes are generated not only in industrial settings, but also in a variety of other settings, including schools, office buildings, and medical facilities.

  • Organic Waste – Organic waste includes expired food and scraps unfit for human consumption, whether unpackaged or packaged in any type of container.
  • Universal Waste – Universal wastes are common, everyday items that contain a hazardous component. Examples include bulbs, batteries, mercury-containing devices, and aerosol cans.
  • Electronic Waste – Common items in e-waste streams include computers, monitors, televisions, printers, copiers, and medical equipment.

No matter the job size, Whitman’s professional staff tackles each project with a personable and competent approach to ensure every client is completely satisfied.

Our goal is to provide simple, reliable and safe solutions, and drive down costs wherever possible.
