Whitman is pleased to announce the recent graduation of members of our senior leadership team from the Crestcom Leadership Skills Workshop.

Senior Vice Presidents David Case and Michael Russo, Vice President of Engineering Carey Ruetsch, Vice President of Business Development Edward Alonso, and Director of Human Resources Nicole Destin spent the past year participating in monthly in-person and virtual classes focused on various leadership competencies to develop the skills to become more effective leaders.

Each class focused on two essential business topics including coaching and developing employees, talent management, negotiation skills, strategic thinking, accountability, hiring practices, and time management.

At Whitman, we value and encourage continuous education, recognizing that it is an important part of everyone’s personal and professional growth.  As our senior leadership team continues to lead Whitman through a challenging 2020 and beyond, these new skills learned will play a large part in working with, teaching and coaching co-workers, as well as strengthening relationships with our clients and vendors.

Mr. Case noted: “Speaking on behalf of all of us who completed the Workshop, we attained many valuable takeaways.  With all of our different job functions and staff responsibilities here at Whitman, the tools learned in this program have become a part of our daily work.  Our goal is to continue to use these skills to enhance our culture, provide an environment for learning and growth for all employees, and continue the strong legacy of the Whitman brand as a trusted environmental and engineering service provider.”
