Whitman is pleased to announce that Megan Diaz has been promoted to Project Manager!

Megan joined Whitman in 2017 as Senior Scientist. Almost immediately upon starting at the firm she began working on an environmental remediation project full-time in Connecticut and was charged with orchestrating the phasing in of multiple teams for each step of the project and overseeing all remediation, containment, clean-up and inspection efforts. She also oversaw engineering controls and mediating issues for capping a landfill in preparation for it becoming a solar field for the Rhode Island power grid.

For the past several years, Megan has been providing full-time onsite environmental, health and safety (EH&S) support services for a large pharmaceutical company in New Jersey which includes assistance with their facility self-assessment programs, creation of standard operating procedures, wastewater permitting, Spill Prevention, Containment and Countermeasure Plans, wastewater studies, and proper handling and segregation of laboratory-produced waste. The project also involves completing a Sustainability Plan for the campus that will act as a 3-5 year guide for developments and projects aimed to reduce the company’s environmental impact.

Congratulations Megan!
