Whitman was thrilled to have participated in a local creek cleanup event for the Mile Run waterway that borders Franklin Park (Somerset County) and New Brunswick (Middlesex County) on April 9th!

The effort, which included volunteers from various environmental organizations in and around Franklin Township, was spearheaded by members of the Franklin Township Environmental Commission.

Whitman Senior Vice President and Owner David Case shared his thoughts on the event:  “As an environmental and engineering company which recently relocated headquarters to Somerset, NJ, Whitman was extremely pleased to take part in this local clean-up effort.  It was amazing to see what a group of dedicated volunteers can do in a few hours. Thank you to Robin Suydam, whose family has been a part of the local community since the 1700s and who also sits on the Franklin Park Environmental Commission, for inviting us to be part of this effort. All of us at Whitman look forward to future opportunities to volunteer our time and resources to support the local community’s environmental needs.”
