We are excited to announce that Christopher O’Donnell, EIT has officially joined Whitman’s Engineering Team as a full-time Staff Engineer!

Chris first joined Whitman in May of this year as a Summer Intern, assisting Whitman’s Renewable Services Division with solar engineering related tasks, including the preparation concept plans and full engineered design packages, as well as CAD drafting tasks.

As a Staff Engineer, Chris will continue supporting the design of solar renewable projects, in addition to learning more about electrical engineering under the guidance of Whitman’s Senior Project Manager Jeffrey Thoens, PE, LEED AP BD+C. Chris’s main focus will be on renewable services, but he will lend a hand with other mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering services as well.

Chris’s enthusiasm and work flexibility saw him spend time during his summer internship working in both the firm’s engineering and environmental groups, and he will again be available to support both groups as Whitman continues to expand its services.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University.  He is currently pursuing his Masters of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering at Rutgers University, and is an Engineer in Training (EIT) for the State of New York.

Welcome to the Whitman Team, Chris!
