Whitman is pleased to announce that Eddie Alonso, P.E., C.E.M., LEED AP, has been named the firm’s Senior Vice President of Operations.
Eddie has been an integral member of the firm’s Executive Leadership team over the past three years and has been a leader within Whitman’s Engineering Division for over ten years. In addition, he has led our business development group, driving new business for the firm across all disciplines, and has been the driving force to promote and grow the engineering division’s services, which include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, site/civil engineering, and renewable energy design.
As Senior Vice President of Operations, Eddie will be responsible for the direction and growth of Whitman’s Environmental and Engineering Divisions. He will also continue to play a vital role on the Executive Leadership team, driving business development, assisting with marketing initiatives, and providing valued insight, leadership, and direction within the firm’s engineering group.
Eddie’s technical background is comprised of over 20 years of design and project management experience, including multi-discipline projects in various market sectors such as commercial, pharmaceutical, industrial, laboratories, and higher education. He has significant experience in fire protection, plumbing, HVAC design and controls, as well as energy modeling and auditing for mechanical systems.
