PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Whitman’s Waste Management service line had a busy Q4 in 2024 spanning an array of different project types and locations throughout the US. Here are a few project highlights that the waste team has worked hard on either completing or kicking off this past quarter:
We finished a long-standing project for concrete washouts in southern New Jersey. The project has been running since 2023 and the service includes collecting and cleaning concrete residuals from the trucks and equipment. In 2024, there were 59 services at the site!
- We assisted with setting up a temporary storage tank for the collection of processed wastewater at a manufacturing facility in central Massachusetts, and then established a program for daily pickups via a vacuum tanker for proper disposal at a wastewater treatment facility. This project will continue throughout 2025!
- We performed various end-of-the-year warehouse cleanouts focusing on sustainable disposal solutions for a variety of hazardous and non-hazardous products in all container types (tote, drums, boxes, bags) and volumes (both truckload and less-than truckload) at locations that spanned from New Hampshire to New Jersey to South Carolina to Kentucky (and a few others in-between).
Whitman’s Waste Management Division is A-901 licensed and has over 20 years of experience throughout the United States and Canada creating customized environmental solutions for its client base. Whether it’s managing hazardous or non-hazardous waste, providing field and/or transportation services, or exploring beneficial/recycling options for various materials, our approach focuses on providing the highest level of customer service.
