Whitman is proud to announce that two of our firm’s environmental professionals have earned their Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) licenses.
Gary Weissberger and Adam Stretz recently passed their LSRP examinations, bringing the firm’s total number of LSRPs to nine.
Mr. Weissberger and Mr. Stretz possess many years of knowledge in the environmental industry, with experience spanning all project phases from Preliminary Assessments through full-scale remediation. They join Whitman’s team of industry experts who work to streamline investigation and remediation projects to ensure that our clients are successful in achieving project closure.

Gary Weissberger, LSRP
Mr. Weissberger joined Whitman in 1996. As Senior Project Manager, his responsibilities include review and technical input into projects related to the Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA), brownfield remediation, and other aspects of environmental remediation. Mr. Weissberger interacts with clients and regulatory personnel to understand the most effective way to approach and complete an environmental project. Mr. Weissberger has been involved with conducting a variety of field investigations including ground water and soil, and also prepares and manages remedial phase investigations and reports. Mr. Weissberger holds a B.A. in Geology from the University of Rochester.
Adam Stretz, LSRP
Mr. Stretz joined Whitman in 2014. As Project Manager, his responsibilities include varying involvement in all phases of the site remediation processes in accordance with NJDEP’s Technical Guidance Documents, New Jersey’s Technical Requirements for Site Remediation N.J.A.C. 7:26E, NJDEP’s Field Sampling Procedures Manual and the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA). Activities performed as part of each assessment include site inspection, document review, historical survey, aerial photograph interpretation and report preparation. Mr. Stretz holds a B.S. in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University.
Whitman has been providing LSRP services since the inception of the LSRP program. Through the firm’s involvement with the creation of the LSRP program itself, in addition to our 30-plus years of experience in New Jersey site remediation and regulation, Whitman is well positioned to assist clients in meeting the requirements for remediation under the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA).
