Carey has more than 38 years of experience in engineering design and project management.  He has a diverse background including project management, project design, construction support, civil engineering and surveying, across many industry sectors. Carey has project experience in construction of renewable energy, commercial buildings, residential developments, telecommunication sites, and water and sewer treatment plants.

Carey oversees the development of the firm’s Renewable Energy Services division of the company and has managed the mechanical, structural and electrical engineering components of more than 1 GW of renewable projects throughout the US. He has created relationships with small commercial contractors as well as large publicly traded solar developers.

In addition, Carey is an FAA licensed drone operator for Whitman’s new Drone Services line, providing flights for roof condition assessments, solar imaging, property investigations and aerial imagery.

Carey holds a B.S. in Engineering Technology from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Carey is a big sports fan and proudly supports the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and New York Rangers. After office hours, he helps to run the company golf league. When not at work, Carey enjoys photography, travel, fitness and golf.
