Asbestos
Safety Technician
Valid New Jersey Asbestos Safety
Technician (AST) license required. Minimum of 2 years of experience performing
building surveys and monitoring asbestos abatements at publicly and privately owned
facilities. Experience in supervising asbestos abatement contractors is
necessary, and experience in preparing reports a plus.
Industrial
Hygiene/Environmental Health and Safety
AHERA Certified. Minimum of 2 years experience performing OSHA
assessments, indoor air quality/mold investigations, safety audits and asbestos
inventories.
Civil/Environmental Engineer
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering,
with EIT or P.E. 3-6 years experience in
infrastructure (water, sewer, utilities) and/or structural design. Responsibilities to include preparation of design
documents and specifications and the inspection and on-site management of construction activities.
Environmental
Scientist/Engineer (Remediation Systems)
2-5 years hands on experience in remediation systems design and O&M
experience on SVE/GWTS. Capable of preparing design reports including
equipment specifications and cost evaluations, and provide construction
oversight for implementation of all aspects of site remediation including
systems.
Environmental
Scientist/Engineer/Geologist
(Due Diligence)
2-4 years hands on experience conducting environmental due diligence
investigations including Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, ISRA-related
Preliminary Assessments, and similar projects. Familiarity with NJ
Technical Requirements for site remediation, ISRA, and ground water sampling
procedures is a major plus. Candidate should be OSHA 40 hour trained and
be able to spend approximately 30% of his/her time performing field work such
as soil and ground water sampling.
Environmental
Scientist (Industrial Hygiene)
Whitman is looking for a versatile environmental scientist with some experience in Industrial Hygiene/Indoor
Environment. Some of this
person's 3-5 years of relevant professional experience should relate to indoor environmental issues including air quality, mold, safety,
lead or asbestos.
Environmental
Technician
3-6 years of hands-on experience in the construction, operation and maintenance
of remediation systems including ground water pump and treat, soil vapor
extraction and air sparging. Must also be able to perform ground water
monitoring and soil sample collection. NJDEP wastewater treatment system
N-2 license a plus.
Project Manager
Due to our company's recent growth, we are looking for an environmental Project
Manager with at least 7-10 years experience in environmental consulting or
similar employment. The candidate must have been in charge of
investigation, remediation, design and/or compliance projects of significant
complexity, supervising staff and contractors; must have had direct line
supervisory and management responsibility for staff; and must have had
substantial interaction with clients and regulatory agencies. The ability
to clearly write, give verbal presentations, and articulate new approaches
through written proposals is a must. Business development experience would
be a plus.
