- This “Fast-Track”, exclusive turnkey design and implementation package for the Retail Branch Automation Program, including all 409 branches in Bank of New York’s system throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut was executed successfully by our team members.
Project Description
The scope of services included Electrical Engineering/Information Technology infrastructure design of new racks, modems, switches and structured cabling for teller stations, platform desks, ATMs, private banking areas and support facilities.
The challenges of organizing and implementing a fast-track design/build program included the successful field supervision of seven electrical contractors and the careful coordination and integration of multiple key vendors including NCR, IBM and Verizon.
This one-year initiative was completed precisely on schedule and under budget, in large part due to project execution including careful planning, thorough and accurate construction documents, anticipation of potential roadblocks, as well as the innovative techniques used to work through them.
